Why should Clean make your soap?
Whether you're already manufacturing your own products or sourcing them from elsewhere, soap-making is a unique process that requires specialized equipment, skill, and experience. It's also riskier because of the (natural!) chemical reactions that take place during saponification.

HERE'S what makes us different:
Our Process:
Why spend your own valuable time and resources experimenting with a new formulation, batching, and manufacturing? We've got you covered.
- We make soap the old fashioned way, from start to finish. You may find other manufacturers using melt and pour, "finishing" or "extruding" soap.
- Quality ingredient sourcing: Our soaps are made entirely in-house so that we have complete control over ingredient sourcing and production quality. When possible, we partner with local farmers and growers.
- Our formulation and sampling fees are some of the lowest you'll find, and we send free samples to help get you started.
- In fact, because we specialize in soap, our bulk purchasing abilities and equipment allow us to make your soap for a fraction of what it would cost if you were making it yourself.
- We are your behind-the-scenes soapmaker: We do not require that you use, display, or even mention our company name.
- Once you buy from us, the soap becomes yours.
- You deal with one person during the entire process of product development, ordering, and reordering. We're a lean team, and when you work with us, you get the individual attention from an expert in soapmaking and the natural skincare industry. You and your products deserve no less.
- We're the right sized company. We only work with a few select brands whose values and ethos align with our own. Ensuring we're a good fit for one another is the first step in a successful partnership. We listen to your needs and devote the time to developing and manufacturing your soap so that we always get it right.
- Low Minimums: We have some of the lowest MOQs in the industry and offer "short runs" of 300 bars.
- Scalability: And yes, we are able to scale production (and pricing) to meet your needs. We know you have a lot of loyal customers, we expect demand for your soaps to increase once your customers get their hands on it, and we are prepared to maintain quality and quantity to match that.
- Climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facility: Dehumidification ensures soap is properly cured prior to shipment, resulting in a high-quality, long-lasting bar.
- Did you know soap requires 4 weeks to cure? That's 4 weeks of sitting on a shelf, not making any money. We cure all soaps at our facility, so once they hit your shelves, they're customer-ready. This cuts your storage requirements for soap in half.
- We believe soap is skincare: Over the past six years, we’ve developed an expertise in formulating bars that are organic, botanically-based, and easily slip into skincare rituals and routines. Our favorite formulations balance clays with rich oils and butters for effective cleansing without stripping skin. They serve as a natural, lightly-sudsy delivery system for purifying, gentle clays, essential oils, and other plant ingredients.
- Labeling and Packaging: Not only do we have partners in the label- and box-printing industries, but we're also here to guide you through the labeling requirements for soap and INCI.
- We have imagination: We are experts with a proven record in producing top-quality cold-process handmade soap using a variety of organic materials, like:
- goat milk
- coconut milk
- herbal teas
- botanical infusions
- wine or beer (fun!)
- greek yogurt
- honey
- clays and natural colorants
- natural exfoliants - oats, apricot seed, charcoal, you name it...!
- essential oils (obviously. You won't find fragrance oils here)
- swirls? layers? designs? If you can imagine it, we can help to make it happen
