Hi! I'm Kayla, creator of Clean. Organic Soaps + Skincare. And this -->
was me when I was pregnant with my daughter, who was born in August, 2017.
My journey into the skincare industry actually began on a small farm in Southern California. There, I learned that your body (and skin) is best treated holistically, from the inside out. I embraced the same philosophy about food as I do skincare: Keep it clean and pure.
When we first arrived at the farm in 2014, I started making soap for my family and friends using goat milk from our happy little herd and the botanicals that were already growing wild (mint, chamomile, comfrey, dandelion...). I became fascinated by the transformative process of soapmaking and amazed at what a well-made bar of soap could really do. (And how much better it was than anything else I'd ever used!)
Following the encouragement of friends and family who loved the results they were seeing after using my soaps, I decided to grow the business and make these products available to a wider consumer-base. I began partnering with like-minded skincare brands, operating under the shared vision that safe, natural, sustainably-sourced products can occupy a significant share of the skincare market. We've since moved off the farm and across the country, to Florida, where we are currently headquartered. My passion has only grown for the creative process of crafting new, elevated formulas and bringing awareness to what exceptional-quality organic soaps can offer.
